Abstract
|
|
|
TTP is characterized by triad of microangiopathic hemolytic anemia,
thromobocyto-penia and fluctuating neurological abnormalities, and by acute coure with
high mortality. Recently multimodality treatment has been reported with prompt
recovery.
Presented here, a 43 year-old mate Physician with TTP, who revealed complete
remission with multimodality treatment consisting of fresh frozen plasma, plasma
exchange, steroids, vincristine, and dipyridamole.
